ISLAMIC, Persia (Pre-Seljuq). 'Alids of Tabaristan. al-Hasan ibn Zayd, AH 250-270 / AD 864-884. Dirham (Silver, 23 mm, 3.35 g, 11 h), citing al-Hasan ibn Zayd and the Shi'ite epithecal name al-da'i illa al-haqq ('upon the Truth, in the Truth' in Kufic), Jurjan, AH 268 = AD 881/2. Album 1523. Rare. The flan somewhat wavy and with minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
